How Your Water Intake Is Calculated

Your daily water intake is calculated based on your body weight and activity level. A general guideline is to drink 30-35 ml of water per kg of body weight. We use an average of 33 ml/kg as the base value.

Additional water is added based on your activity level: 500 ml for light to moderate activity, and 1000 ml for heavy activity or athletes. This accounts for increased hydration needs due to sweat and exertion.

This calculator provides a general estimate. Factors like climate, health conditions, and individual needs can affect your hydration requirements. Always listen to your body and consult a healthcare professional if needed.
